Our Story

Our Meraki, Inc is a non-profit organization registered with the State of Georgia who started by providing assistance to victims in Haiti who’ve suffered at the hands of natural disasters.


On October 25, 2016, a life-changing event befell the nation of Haiti. With winds in excess of 150 mph, Hurricane Matthew carried with it the destructive power to significantly reconstruct the landscape of the nation and that of the lives of its inhabitants.
Invading the shores of the island, Hurricane Matthew was reported to have claimed around 200,000 homes and an estimated 546 lives. Those whose homes weren’t completely obliterated, were left with severe need for Humanitarian aid in the form of supplies and medical attention.

Julie, a Miami-born chiropractor/nutritionist, founded a 501c3 fueled by her love for Haiti, where she was raised.

Vice Chair
Jackson, Miami Heat Wheels star, runs a tax business, aids disabled individuals, and co-founded Haiti's first Paralympic Center.

Secretary
Lynda, a chiropractor in SE Georgia, balances family, faith, and a heart of gold, all while impeccably organizing a non-profit.

Finance & Events
Lucy, a wife, mother, and finance coach, is a money management expert dedicated to serving her community. Your finances are safe with her!
